Why pro triathletes are fun to shoot… with a camera…

29 Jul Why pro triathletes are fun to shoot… with a camera…

There is something to be said for photographing very fit people… I recently had the pleasure of photographing a team of professional triathletes in Salt Lake City. Trifecta Endurance is Barbara Sherwood, Wesley Johnson and Jannalyn Lutrell. We shot in a number of locations, including the studio, Antelope Island and Millcreek Canyon. Barbara is a registered dietician, hence the veggie and spaghetti shots at the bottom of the post…

If you’d like to know more about the lighting setups we used for these shoots, please drop us a line or leave a comment!

Be sure to check out the Trifecta endurance website and blog for information on training, nutrition and more!

Hi Dan, this pictures are truly amazing! I really like the look and feel of them. I’m in the process of getting a new set of lights, and since you kindly offered your help on the setup, I’m definitely interested in knowing what set of lights you used and how. Thank you for offering the help.

Great set of pics! I’m a cyclist and have also done a few sprint-distance tris and really appreciate your work here; you really brought some unique looks to these shots – I’d be interested in set up info. as well. Also, curious – what do you use for PP – PS or other? I’m particularly interested in the 7th shot from the top – how did you do this?
