An amazing place to visit, with excellent food and wonderful people, Vietnam is often described by first-time visitors as a bit chaotic. The traffic in Saigon can be quite intimidating. There are massive roundabouts perpetually filled with a barrage of honking buses, scooters and automobiles weaving in and out of each other. Throw pedestrians into the mix, and maybe, just maybe you get the picture.
I spent a couple of days and nights photographing the bustling hive of Saigon. I then headed up to Hanoi, where I spent an afternoon and night shooting the more relaxed, quaint French Quarter. Some of the resulting photos can be seen in this post. There is a selection of some abstract scooter shots (see related post on scooters in Vietnam) as well as some slices of daily (or nightly) life. For even more images, please visit the Saigon gallery or the Hanoi Gallery.
I love this series of photos. Makes me want to go there and experience the scenes.I can hear the scooters and smell the stir fry. Awesome stuff.
